Central Premix Concrete Company office
More than a neighbor, but the photo is similar the others on this page, so this is where the web servant put it. Central Premix Concrete Company is the reason the lake exists, and provides the economic wherewithall for the lake to be currently managed as a viewable wildlife area. Probably the best gravel and concrete company you will encounter.
Below are some pictures of trees at the Yakima Arboretum, just south of LL Buchanan Lake. The Elephant tree is friendly. Mutt and Jeff are two Giant Sequoias. The bell-shaped one is most impressive up close. The light green tree is curiously dense with branches. I could have filled the memory capacity with the beautiful trees in the Arboretum, and may add more later.
Sarge Hubbard Park, just north of the LL Buchanan Lake. A few pictures of the park are below.
Nearby previous home of the Washington Fruit Commission, looking for new renter.
Oxford Inn and Oxford Suites.
Lawyer Nursery The fine folks from whom we get the seedling trees each year. The photos are of some seedlings at their Olympia Nursery, with Mt. Rainier looming above, and their Montana Nursery, with puffy clouds.
